Job Level:
Individual Contributor Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
What You Will Be Doing:
Review and analyze Personal Lines and Commercial Lines business to determine compliance with Companies’ guidelines. Regularly communicate with Agents and field Marketing staff to ensure underwriting rules and requirements are understood and followed. Assist with field agent underwriting training and development. Make recommendations for agency reviews and assist with evaluation and information collection as requested. Conduct intensive on-site risk analysis on individual property risks and adjacent exposures. Provide loss control and underwriting technical services for assigned agents, policyholders and Home Office Underwriting personnel including evaluating exposures and recommending action.
