Environmental Underwriting Professional Position Available In Middlesex, New Jersey

Job Objectives:

Manage and grow a portfolio of environmental casualty insurance products through strategic business relationships with wholesaler and retailer brokers. Utilize your business acumen and underwriting skills to develop pricing and negotiate terms and conditions in order to build a profitable book of business.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Underwrite new and renewal environmental casualty products (general liability combined with site pollution, contractors pollution, and contractors professional, commercial auto, supported and unsupported excess) and negotiation of policy terms and conditions while adhering to Allied World Environmental Underwriting Guidelines.

Broker distribution:

strategically develop broker relationships to generatenew business opportunities and manage existing accounts. Prepare quotes, binders, referrals, and document underwriting files in compliance with company guidelines. Develop and manage positive and effective working relationships with a commitment to service for all stakeholders (brokers, insureds, and internal personnel) leading to high customer satisfaction. Coordinate and perform regular marketing calls, account stewardship meetings, and events to promote Allied World product offerings. Participate in local professional organizations and engage with existing and prospective insureds and brokers on key developments in the marketplace.
