Job Description
Everest Reinsurance Company, a member of the Everest Re Group, LTD, is seeking a Property Facultative Underwriter for the Atlanta office. A high level of technical underwriting,munication and analytic skill is necessary to develop and manage business to achieve long term underwriting profit and growth.

Requirements:

New business production and renewal underwriting as well as adherence to underwriting rules and guidelines and developing strong customer relationships through providing top-notch service.
Work with all functional areas of thepany including claims, accounting, and product management to supportpany objectives.
Ability to travel. This individual would be expected to spend time on the road after the initial training process. Marketing that includes travel monthly or as needed, to assigned markets and territory.
Build relationship with cedingpanies and reinsurance intermediaries
Maintain awareness ofpetitor capabilities and strategies, as well as the overall insurance marketplace.
Experience working with catastrophe models a plus.
Property Facultative experience preferred.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Property Underwriter with various occupancies including large accounts.
Excellent marketing skills and established relationships with insurancepanies.
Strong interpersonal and writing skills with the ability to flourish in a team environment.
The ability to interpret engineering reports.
Prior Reinsurance experience a plus.
The ability to interpret catastrophe modeling and actuarial methodologies and output.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.
