Lead Underwriter – Contract Surety – Mount Vernon, NY InsuranceUnderwriter Construction & Contrct Surety Bid Bonds PerformanceBonds Payment Bonds Surety Bonds Financial Analysis Risk AssessmentInfrastructure Industrial Commercial Construction Contract SuretyContract Bonds Bid Bonds Performance Bonds Payment BondsMaintenance Bond Latin America USA Canada _ . Seeking a regionaldirector for field operations to manage and develop a largecontract surety book of business, including Contract Bonds, BidBonds, Performance Bonds, Payment Bonds, and Maintenance Bonds.

Analyze bonds to decide which risks are acceptable. Develop growthand profitability plans, including cross-selling strategies for allsurety lines. Conduct meetings with agents and contractors todevelop and maintain close relationships. Appoint new agencyrelationships that have a core focus on surety development. Workwith agencies to identify opportunities and write new accounts.

Approve bonds and programs within assigned authority. Evaluate andinterpret bonds, contracts, credit reports, and loan agreements.

Recommend underwriting decision on bonds or accounts exceedingauthority. Perform analysis and recording activity in underwritingand administrative tools and systems.
