Join an industry leader in specialty lines and develop a plan to grow and develop a book of habitational property business including Apartment Buildings, Condominiums, Hotels, and Similar use Buildings. Provide authority to junior level underwriters, develop and maintain underwriting techniques, underwrite new and renewal business and visit assigned wholesalers. Develop and manage assigned agents and ensure all legal and regulatory standards are met. Recommend changes or updates to policies and pricing strategies in order to retain a competitive status in the market. Support sales staff through pre-qualifying of submissions and establishing terms for offers. Excellent starting compensation up to $170,000 with full medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance plans as well as company paid life insurance.
