Insurance Underwriter Underwriting Surety Contract Surety BondsConstruction Surety Commercial Insurance License & Permit bondsBid, performance and payment bonds Commercial performance bondsLarge appeal court bonds _ . Implement marketing activities and underwrite commercial bonds tostrategically build a profitable book in a designatedterritory.

• Facilitate and maintain broker, agency and customerrelationships to produce profitable new business.
• Review all new submissions and bond requests, and initiateresponse.
• Evaluate risk and determine underwriting criteria.
• Determine the necessary forms for a case such as bond forms,riders, statutory, etc.
• Determine rate and other significant issues affecting bondissuance.
• Underwrite bonds by appropriately assessing risk presentedwhile adhering to underwriting philosophy.
• Review contract documents, identify onerous clauses, andaddress each.
• Fully document underwriting files.
• Communicate with agents regarding file needs.
• Communicate clear, complete instructions for bond issuance andinvoicing.
• Assist with collections when necessary.
