Job Description
My client isa highly regarded fund advisory and infrastructure firm supporting private equity and credit managers across the U.S. and Europe. They are looking to hire a BDC Fund Controller to join our team in a fully dedicated capacity supporting a leading credit investment platform. This is a co-sourced role focused on the accounting and reporting for BDC and private debt funds. The role offers visibility with senior leadership, hands-on responsibility across fund operations, and the chance to work in partnership with a top-tier investment manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee accounting and reporting for credit-focused funds (including BDC structures) Lead day-to-day cash management, reconciliation, and forecasting Collaborate with the investment team on performance analysis and reporting Manage external audits, tax workstreams, and investor/lender reporting Prepare and review budgets, management reports, and ad hoc analyses Supervise a team and coordinate with outsourced administrators
Qualifications:
10+ years of fund accounting experience, with strong exposure to credit strategies Strong knowledge of GAAP and investment fund reporting Experience working with BDCs or private debt funds preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with fund accounting systems
