Equipment Asset Manager 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Frostproof, FL 33843 Job Summary Responsible for overseeing 3 Equipment refurb/assembly Centers
- Douglassville, PA, Frostproof, FL and Houston,TX. These centers inventory equipment/parts, purchase/refurb equipment, monitor Equipment performance for new, refurbed and assembled equipment to support all SSP product lines requiring equipment. Major Job Functions Position reports to the Director of Service and Equipment. Responsible for 3 Equipment Centers Direct reports
- 3 EQ supervisors Oversee/monitor EQ and parts inventories to ensure we keep up with growing business Ensure the 3 Refurb/EQ assembly Centers support sales demand. Track refurb/New EQ performance in the field
- when applicable, coordinate warranty with manufacturers Ensure equipment ships from all centers in a timely fashion Work with EQ and parts suppliers on forecasts of our needs
- evaluate new EQ platforms and cost savings. Work with sales on new opportunities and projects Continuously improve equipment process to support business need efficiently and effectively. Evaluate new equipment platforms to insure EQ matches customer requirements at efficient cost Expand refrigeration capabilities at refurb centers
- reduce sourcing out refurb work. Maintain under 5% out of stock parts and refurb failures Other activities as identified by Director of Service/Equipment and/or VP Operations Required Skills/Abilities/Education Management background
- 3-5 years prior management experience Mechanical repair experience
- prefer beverage equipment but will consider other Solid technical and problem solving skills
- dealing in remote/over the phone discussions Proactive and good follow up skills Computer skills
- accessing data bases, inputting orders/ERF’s, spreadsheets
- need to be comfortable with heavy computer use Communication skills
- verbal and written
- most oversight and communication will be remote, so written and verbal communication is constantly required to manage remote
- provide clear direction.
