Investment Funds Associate Location:

New York, NY The New York office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking an Investment Funds Associate with 2-4 years of fund formation experience. The Associate will advise on the formation, structuring, operation, and regulation of private investment funds and their advisers as part of a dynamic and growing corporate group.

Job Responsibilities:

Advise on the formation, structuring, operation, and financing of a wide range of private investment funds (including private equity, hedge fund, credit, venture, and crypto-focused) for both established and new sponsors. Draft, revise, and negotiate fund documents. Coordinate all aspects of a fund launch/closing. Assist with ongoing federal and state regulatory filings and other compliance obligations for RIAs, exempt reporting advisers, and other advisers.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of fund formation experience. Knowledge of and familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Salary Range:

$235,000 to $310,000, commensurate with experience.
