Job Summary:
The Loan Operations Clerk will perform administrative and clerical duties to process loans from initial receipt to final entry in the loan database.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare complete and accurate loan packages. Input information into loan platform system, including collateral perfection documents (mortgages, UCCs, title applications, etc.) Verifies accuracy and completeness of data and documents for loans; assessments may include verifying accuracy of financials, completion of credit authorizations, and collection of required documentation. Enters information into the bank core system. Prepares and submits forms or documentation needed to make necessary corrections to incomplete or inaccurate data. Prepare settlement sheets and general ledger entries. Maintains complete loan portfolio records including vouchers, services, payoffs, corrections, and year-end interest reporting. Support other offices with maintenance, inputting of loans and reports. Maintain customer credit files and loan files through scanning and filing systems. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent administrative and clerical skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Computer proficiency to use and interact with consumer loan database. Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software to prepare documentation.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of clerical experience required; bank teller or similar experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
