The Loan Fund Coordinator primarily supports the administration of traditional loans and microloans within the Business Growth Loan Fund Program and includes, but is not limited to: Analysis and review of loan applications. Develop agendas and prepare presentations for loan committee meetings. Record loan activity for new and existing loans in industry-specific software. Maintain loan files and support Finance Department with monthly reporting. Develop prospects for new loans with banks, local businesses, and economic development organizations. Knowledge of real estate, equity, gap financing, fixed assets, working capital, insurance requirements, grant contracts, interest rates, and terms of loan financing. Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. The Loan Fund Coordinator supports agency efforts to connect local governments with regional economic development programs which may include: Research and preparation of planning reports and studies. Grant writing and administration.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a course of study related to the occupational field is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite A valid driver license. Professional experience in the financial administration of loans and/or grants is preferred. Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field is required. The beginning salary is $47,465.60. Salary Grade 10. Full-time. Exempt. This position reports to the NARCOG Director of Finance, Grants, and Loans. NARCOG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
