This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. The Closer ensures that all necessary documents are accurately prepared, funds are balanced, and transactions are executed in a timely and professional manner. They collaborate closely with processors, agents, lenders, clients, and the post-closing department to deliver a seamless and positive closing experience. Duties Communicates with agents and lenders regarding the transaction Provides excellent customer service when working with agents, lenders, and clients Manages Processor to ensure all requested requirements are ordered and received Reviews all title documents and oversees the timely delivery of those documents to the respective parties Prepares settlement statements for all transactions and sends to parties to review in advance Reviews and balances incoming and outgoing funds for each transaction Prepares closing documents to ensure satisfaction of title requirements Closes transactions by reviewing documents and signing with buyers and sellers and their agents Prepares file for Post-Closing with Processor which includes a marked down title commitment Works with Post-Closing department to handle issues in a timely fashion Requirements 2-3 years of experience in real estate closings, preferably in a title company, law firm, or escrow environment Strong understanding of title commitments, settlement statements, and closing documents Experience with balancing and disbursing funds in real estate transactions Familiarity with industry software such as SoftPro, Qualia, or Resware (or whichever you use) Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations, including TRID guidelines Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong attention to detail and highly organized Ability to work independently while managing multiple transactions Customer service focused and comfortable interacting with clients, agents, and lenders Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot title or closing issues as they arise Notary public or willingness to become one High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred We’re looking for someone who works well with others, delivers outstanding customer service, and understands that our business is rooted in compassion, communication, and building strong relationships.
