Duties:

• Verify and examine information and accuracy of loan application and closing documents.
• Assemble and compile documents for loan closings, such as title abstracts, insurance forms, loan forms, and tax receipts.
• Record applications for loan and credit, loan information, and disbursements of funds, using lending pad software.
• Submit accurate loan applications
• Contact customers by mail, telephone, or in person concerning acceptance or rejection of applications.
• File and maintain loan records.
• Contact credit bureaus, employers, and other sources to check applicants’ credit and personal references.
• Check value of customer collateral to be held as loan security.
• Prepare and type loan applications, letters, forms, and government notices.
• Order property insurance or mortgage insurance policies to ensure protection against loss on mortgaged property.
• Schedule and conduct closings of mortgage transactions.
• Analyze and assess performance on loan originators
• Forecast monthly and quarterly revenue based on the current trajectory of loan applications and active loans.
• Oversee loan processer to ensure that the loan is being processed accurately and according to timelines.

Loan Originators Education:

Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in any subject matter.

Experience:

2 years of experience as a loan processor, loan originator or closely related job. Experience to include, 2 years of experience in:

• Forecast monthly and quarterly revenue based on the current trajectory of loan applications and active loans.
• Assisting customers during the loan process by answering questions, explaining terms, and guiding them through paperwork.

Foreign Language Requirement:

Fluent in Spanish (reading, writing and speaking)

Hours:

• Number of hours per week: 40 hours per week

Daily Work Schedule:

Mon to Fri 8.30 a.m. to 5.30p.m. (1hr lunch)
