What We Do Leverage your love of history and research to help provide solid information to our teams and customers in the commercial real estate space. First American is looking to add a Sr. Commercial Title Officer to our growing team. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting the team in a variety of ways including performing title searches for commercial transactions ranging from single site to high-liability multi-site, analyzing records and data, contributing key information that is critical to the transaction process. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating the resolution and completion of the commercial title process. HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
Handle all types of transactions Analyze Company risk as it pertains to escrow and title. Utilize and is an advocate of Gost. Is an active member on all NCS Escrow calls and training workshops Continues to enhance title knowledge by actively communicated and engaging with Title Underwriters. Strong working knowledge of Corporate and NCS policies and procedures including wire fraud. Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure High School diploma or equivalent 8-10 years’ experience as an Escrow Officer Specialized knowledge in one or more escrow product areas
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
(KSAs) Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry field Demonstrates a can do attitude not only with the clients but with fellow members the team which will allow them to think outside the box. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Strong client relations and organizational skills Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Pay Range:
$34.68-$46.21 hourly This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
