ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review property valuations to determine acceptability of collateral regarding the following: SSR scores showing high risk for overvaluation along with SSR scores 4.0 or higher As escalated by Management, Underwriters or Appraisal Desk, Quality review when 2nd appraisal is requested, Reconsideration of value as requested. Any other appraisal reviews as requested. Communicate feedback of review within SSB LOS (Encompass). Assist with post-closing, insuring and audit reviews to provide appeals on collateral findings. Consistently meet or exceed established productivity goals. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
COMPETENCIES 1-3
years mortgage underwriting or mortgage collateral underwriting review Thorough knowledge of Agency guidelines as well as Federal and State regulations Strong knowledge of Appraisal tools (Collateral Underwriter, CDA, EAD, SSR, Etc.). Possess strong risk analysis and analytical skills. Work effectively in a fast paced, team environment. Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to manage workflow. Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Strong customer service skills. Ability to multi-task.
Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience :
Six months to one year of experience in an office environment
Certifications/Specific Knowledge :
Successful completion of in-house training program or approved outside training programs. Good understanding of the bank’s products and services.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
Required annual compliance training.
