Mortgage Loan Originator Lending Hand Mortgage Corp. Florida • Remote Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Originator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice on loan options, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial sales skills and a deep understanding of the mortgage industry. Duties Assist clients in understanding their mortgage options and the loan process. Evaluate client financial information to determine eligibility for loans. Prepare and present loan proposals to clients, including terms and conditions. Negotiate loan terms with clients and lenders to secure favorable outcomes. Collaborate with escrow officers, underwriters, and other professionals throughout the loan process. Utilize accounting software and tools such as Quicken for accurate loan processing. Maintain thorough documentation of all client interactions and transactions in compliance with TILA regulations. Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in mortgage lending. Experience Proven experience in financial sales or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with loan processing, underwriting, and escrow procedures is highly desirable. Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations related to loans and interest rates. Proficiency in using accounting software and tools relevant to mortgage lending. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. A strong understanding of TILA regulations and compliance requirements within the mortgage industry.
