We are looking for a Commercial Loan Officer to join our CommercialLending department! The Commercial Loan Officer will work from ourcorporate office in Metairie. This position is classified asHybrid, which means that this person may come into the officeoccasionally for a meeting or training. Our Commercial Loan Officerposition has the base salary of $93,600.00 to $125,000.00 annually+ incentives, with consideration for skills and experience. Role:
The Commercial Loan Officer is responsible foridentifying, developing, and maintaining relationships withcommercial members while managing a portfolio of commercial loans.
This role involves evaluating loan applications, gathering andanalyzing financial and related data to assess overallcreditworthiness, structuring loans that meet the member’sfinancial objectives while safeguarding the Credit Union’sinterests, and ensuring adherence to the Credit Union’s lendingpolicies, guidelines, and federal regulations.
Major Duties andResponsibilities:
Identifies and generates leads to meet the goals of commerciallending department. Takes commercial loan applications. Reviewsmembers financial condition and assesses the borrower’s ability tore-pay the loan. Completes or directs completion of all loandocuments and closes loans. Participates in developing lending and deposit business for thecompany. Calls on clients to expand existing business; calls onprospects seeking opportunities to expand the company’s clientbase. Helps monitor existing loan portfolio to maintain ahigh-quality asset base. Supports the Commercial Portfolio managerwith up-to-date client files including current balance sheets,profit & loss statements, cash flow projections and all loandocumentation. Assists in collection of past due loans. Assists customers with any loan-related questions andconcerns. Must comply with all company policies and procedures,applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, theBank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign AssetsControl. EXPERIENCE5
to 10 years of Commerciallending experience. SBA 7a lending experience preferred.
Demonstrated sale driving, relationship management, and resultsdriven experience. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSESUndergraduateor equivalent experience.

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physicalexertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable ofclimbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be ableto operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier,facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform workon computer for an average of 4-6 hours per day. Must be able towork extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. WORKINGCONDITIONSMust be able to routinely perform work indoors inclimate-controlled private office with minimal noise
