Full-Time 40 hours Summary of position: The position of a LaserPro Operator/Loan Operations Specialist is a blended position of both LaserPro (loan processing) and Loan Operation functions. This position includes all facets of loan operation functions with a blend of providing loan documentation support for loan officers while relieving the officer of routine, often highly confidential and sensitive administrative tasks.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate information and closings with loan officer, closing agents, attorneys and borrowers Conducts post-closing reviews for accuracy and completeness Ensures loans are closed and funded in accordance with the loan approval and to ensure that all supporting loan documentation is in the file and properly executed Create loan exceptions for post-closing documents, along with clear exceptions when post-closing documents are received Processing of paid out and renewed loans by pulling promissory notes, marking these paid or renewed, and having them scanned for paid out/renewal history Review of daily loan maintenance for accuracy Working through the E-Oscar program to settle credit disputes Process mortgage and UCC tracking by creating ticklers to track these for Mortgage Re-inscriptions and UCC continuations Process Mortgage Re-inscriptions and UCC Continuations Process Mortgage Cancellations and partial mortgage releases Support a quality partnership with Lending and Branch personnel to deliver superior customer service Prepare loan documents utilizing the LaserPro doc prep software system. Work with lenders to acquire complete and accurate information for preparing loan documents. Work with third party providers (i.e. attorneys, etc.) Knowledge of bank loan policy, procedure and loan regulations to assure loan request from lender meets the guidelines as set forth by the bank and the regulators. Prepare various general ledger tickets, loan tickets and process online general ledger transactions. Verify loan input on loans to assure accuracy. Balance various general ledger accounts. Check documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates and signatures. Work and communicate discrepancies in documentation with the loan officer and/or attorney/title company. Work closely with the loan officer to obtain missing documentation. Coordinate and communicate with loan officers, attorneys, title companies, insurance companies and other third parties to ensure the loan is properly documented. Board/upload/book the loan to the core systemand track missing items to ensure the loan file is complete and our lien is perfected. Perform other duties as assigned, as well as Special Projects. Prepare loan documents on LaserPro, Excel, and Microsoft Word systems. Assist loan associates with closings. Perform general administrative functions for department including filing, scanning, maintaining computer files and spreadsheets. Work independently on special projects and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

General EducationExperience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field preferred Knowledge of Real Estate and loan documentation strongly preferred 2+ years of Loan Operations experience preferred Mortgage, FNMA, USDA, Commercial, and Consumer Loans documentation preferred LaserPro software experience preferred Familiar with lending related regulatory compliance preferred Knowledge of general ledger entries preferred Must have the ability to work well under pressure and effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment 1+ years of loan documentation preparation preferred 1 year of general banking experience, legal experience, relatable coursework, or equivalent required
