Overview The incumbent provides superior portfolio managementfor a moderate size commercial loan portfolio. This involves (i)working with 2-3 Loan Officers to interact regularly with assignedcustomers to stay abreast of their banking needs, business strategyand operating performance in order to provide superior bankingservice; and (ii) ensuring required financial information isprovided on a timely basis, and is reviewed and analyzed promptlyto identify any areas of potential concern. Performs any functionswithin scope of authority and expertise to provide the highestlevel of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers.
Responsibilities Ensure that all financial statements, covenantcompliance certificates, borrowing base certificates, personalfinancial statements, and any other required financial reporting isreceived, logged and reviewed on a timely basis. Ensure thatborrowing base and covenant compliance certificates are preparedand signed by an appropriate party of the Borrower. In conjunctionwith the Loan Officer, participate in the structuring of commercialloans and the negotiation of loan documents, and ensure that finaldocumentation is consistent with credit approval documents. Workcollegially with the Credit Department to insure high qualitycredit analysis and risk assessment are developed. Ensure that allappropriate information is delivered to Loan Servicing, the CreditDepartment, or other administrative units. Ensure that recordkeeping is accurate and current. Maintain the reputation of theBank with customers, prospects, referral sources, andcommunity-based organizations Perform all duties in accordance withprescribed Bank and regulatory compliance guidelines. Ensure allcommercial loan relationships are in full compliance with Bankpolicies and applicable federal and state laws and regulatoryguidelines. Recommend changes as necessary to support prescribedrequirements. Represent the Bank through active participation incommunity and industry organizations and events and promote thebusiness interests of the Bank. Performs other duties as may berequired. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree and credittraining is required Work Experience 2 years commercial creditand/or business lending experience or equivalent is requiredAdditional Requirements Effective analytical, organizational,presentation, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Mustpossess at least intermediate technology skills, includingknowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheetapplications. Must be able to travel throughout defined market.
