Mortgage Loan Officer A Mortgage Loan Officer is a bankercentered around the development and sales of mortgage loans. Amortgage lender is best suited for candidates that areself-starting, entrepreneurial, active in the community, and hungryfor success. The real estate industry can be volatile, but highactivity and consistent efforts lead to tremendous success.

Mortgage Loan Officer Responsibilities Assists in providing qualityloans for the financial institution by underwriting and evaluatingresidential mortgage applications originated by financialinstitution personnel, which includes loans originated through ourThird-Party Origination agreement. Recommends approval of customerapplications for residential loans or extensions of real estateloan lines of credit. Assists in maintaining, monitoring, andmanaging the pipeline. Assists with overseeing the preparation ofaccurate loan packages and ensuring on-time delivery to investors.

Assists with setting rates in conjunction with management’sguidance.

Mortgage Loan Officer Requirements:

Very active andinvolved in the community, with a solid understanding of the localreal estate market Solidly connected with Real Estate Agents,Insurance Agents, and Developers in the local area Thoroughunderstanding of loan underwriting, compliance, procedures, andcurrent consumer/mortgage lending laws and regulations. Proficientcommunication – in person, over the phone, and via email Proficientmath and computer skills Ability to multi-task, problem-solve andstrong attention to detail Minimum of three (3) years of mortgageor lending experience. Proven track record of production inmortgage lending This opportunity includes an excellentcompensation and benefits package.
