Job Description

What you’ll do: You’re the quarterback of the branch’s success! You’re working with your assigned branches, agents, and their clients to keep the process moving forward and ensuring a smooth transaction.

Key Tasks:
  • Order Surveys
  • Branch Calendar Oversight
  • Communications with customer on escalated title clearing.
  • Communicate and assist legal department for escalated/issue related files.
  • Prepare (type) specialized closing documents (i.e. affidavits, POA, marital waiver)
  • Coordinate between all parties to transaction
  • provide what is needed to close
  • Prework files for closing, ensure all requirements met & received
  • Handle document scanning and uploading into file after closing (in office)
  • Daily deposit (in office)

  • of all trades: Knowing the intricacies of the contract from beginning to end, ensuring that it is closed in a timely, efficient, and error-free manner.
  • Devoted to detail: Verifying all paperwork is complete so that escrow closes on time and correctly.
  • Following the money: Working with lenders and underwriters to ensure that all the I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed to fund and complete transactions.
  • Relationship building: Establishing and maintaining relationships with essential industry players
  • agents, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and government agencies
  • that enable you to smoothly manage transactions.
  • Talent builder: Training escrow assistants to open opportunities for advancement; delegating, auditing work, answering questions, and giving direction. (? Noelle)
  • Sealing the deal: Facilitating closings/presentations when needed. Being present at closing and making it a positive, memorable experience for agents and buyers.
  • As a Regional Escrow Officer, you will primarily work from an assigned branch/homebase, assisting multiple branches.

Additionally, you will be the primary relief/coverage escrow officer, as needed in your designated region and/or at the direction of your supervisor. #indjobs
