Job Description

DescriptionWhat The Role IsUnder general supervision, the Mortgage Loan Closer is responsible for organizing and facilitating loan closings approved by a Cadence Bank Mortgage Underwriter.•Remote within Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas.

How You Will Make An ImpactAssemble, review and compile closing documents for fundingCoordinate the loan closing with the selected title company or closing agent for each specific purchase or refinance transactionEnsure that the compliance standards set forth byagency/investor/regulatory guidelines are met for each transactionCompare Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure for consummation of closing transactionAuthorizing wire transfers to properly fund mortgage loan closingsSatisfy any outstanding closing conditions per lender requirementsWho You AreMortgage and/or loan closing experience of 3 years requiredThorough understanding of Portfolio and Agency closing guidelines, including but not limited to FHA, VA, FNMA and USDAAbility to manage a closing pipeline, meet strict time deadlines and work independently under pressureDetail oriented and able to follow set guidelinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCharacteristicsRegular and reliable attendance.
