DescriptionSummary:
Huntington’s Director, Portfolio Managementwill manage a book of business in the bank’s Aerospace & Defense(A&D) vertical within Huntington’s Corporate Specialty andGovernment Banking group. The Director, Portfolio Managementservices and, in conjunction with Relationship Management, deepensan assigned portfolio of clients by proactively identifying andevaluating opportunities and mitigating associated business risks,in accordance with Huntington policies, procedures, and guidingprinciples.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Underwrite and close broadly syndicated, complex commercialloans Provide credit recommendations to the appropriate level ofcredit administration Review loan documentation in consultation with legalcounsel Manage risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer creditworthiness, adherence to loan terms and general businessconditions Manage annual reviews and renewals, portfolio reviews,collateral exceptions, borrowing bases, delinquencies and otherreporting As appropriate, assist in optimizing customer relationshipsworking with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, CapitalMarkets and other team members
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required 7+ years of related portfolio management experience
PreferredQualifications:
10 years of diversified banking experience including portfoliomanagement experience and positions of increasing responsibility,with 5 years of expertise in the Aerospace & Defense and governmentcontractor space. Leverage lending expertise a plus. Industry knowledge and established networks within the A&Dsector highly preferred Completion of formalized credit training program Demonstrated success structuring complex credits; researching,judging and presenting information verbally and in writing;creating documentation to support the credit and minimize risk Proven ability to manage workflow and deadlines, whileeffectively balancing competing priorities Demonstrated leadership experience by providing coaching, skilldevelopment and feedback to team members Proven negotiation skills Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel and other softwareapplications that are supportive of the loan underwritingprocess Strong written and verbal communication skills High degree of professionalismPlease note: preferred locationsare Pittsburgh, PA; Charlotte, NC; Columbus / Cincinnati /Cleveland / Akron, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois.

Actual compensation will vary and may be above orbelow the range based on various factors including but not limitedto location, experience, and performance.
