About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Strategy & Planning Consultant to support Home Lending strategy. The role requires establishing the strategic direction of the business that aligns to the immediate and long-term goals by assessing current and future state and establishing the action plans to execute.

Support Home Lending’s strategic planningProvide principal level strategic consulting services to Home Lending businessIndependently own deliverable development (from planning to socialization) for senior managementCollaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including Home Lending leadership and Risk & Control partners.

Contribute creative strategic thinking and competitive intelligence to define and execute on key business initiatives.

Act as an advisor to leadershipDevelop or influence highly complex business and technical needs across groups and functionsLead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challengesDeliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to othersPartner with executive management across Wells Fargo to define the business strategy then create and execute corresponding business plans and initiativePlan, direct, and control the formulate strategic business objectives for assigned business unit

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in financial services5+ years of consulting experience directly supporting home lending within financial services institutionsStrong mortgage experienceDistinctive oral and written communicationsExperience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipAbility to structure, analyze, syndicate and synthesize recommendations for highly complex issuesAbility to influence and partner with senior business leadersExperience leading efforts with multiple stakeholder groupsStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesThrives in fast-paced agile, dynamic environment and can track multiple, complex projects simultaneouslyAdapts to changing priorities and excels in ambiguous scenarios with a mindset to continue moving forward
