The Loan Officer Associatewill complete various on-line and classroom educational sessionswhile receiving operational and hands-on training by assisting theLoan Officer and Division Managers. Team Learning Development:

Participate informal training programs provided by the company. These programscover various aspects of lending, including understanding differenttypes of loans, assessing creditworthiness, and navigating the loanapproval process. Train with manager on mortgage rate sheets inorder to learn to accurately price and lock loans. Review variousdaily/weekly/monthly reports to learn the overall mortgage processfrom application to closing.

Continuous Education and Licensure:

Successfully complete testing for mortgage licensing andappropriate state licensing as needed. Maintain up-to-dateknowledge of RESPA through continuing education courses.

Supportand Coordination:

Update the loan application with any missingdata. Maintain notes within the Loan Origination System to ensurecomplete exchange of information. Occasionally provide initial setup of the file.

Business Development and Customer Relations:

Participate in builder and realtor functions to develop andmaintain relationships. Work with Division Manager and LoanOfficers on local marketing campaigns.

Customer-Centric Approach:

Ensure that borrowers can easily reach out through various channels(phone, email, chat) and receive prompt responses. Act as a primarycontact between our borrowers and their Loan Officers, schedule andconduct meetings as needed, to discuss any follow-up issues oritems that need to be addressed.

Collaboration and Flexibility:

Assist processors and closers in procuring loan documents fromborrowers and other entities as needed. Engage and assist internalassociates through various channels (phone, email, chat) andreceive a prompt response. Flexible schedule, including weekendsand evenings as needed. Your Toolbox High school diploma orequivalent BA or BS preferred Mortgage or banking experience(preferred) Experience in articulating product or service features,benefits, and value A genuine passion for going above and beyond toensure customer satisfaction Exceptional organizational abilities,keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiplepriorities. Proficient in using standard office software (e.g.,Microsoft Office Suite) Valid driver’s license and reliabletransportation

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites andoffices during regular work hours is an essential function of thisjob. Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per dayin the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability tooperate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders,bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may bein excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation ofconstruction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operatea computer keyboard and calculator.
