Raleigh, NCYour impact:
The Loan Setup Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance and efficiency of the mortgage loan process including the initial file intake, third party service orders, document placement, initial disclosure events, and loan dispositions.
As a key contributor to the Coastal team, your responsibilities will be

Loan Intake and Review:
Verify loan application completeness, ensure required documentation is present, and flag missing items
- (40%)
Third-Party Service Orders:
Order and track Undisclosed Debt Monitoring, Appraisals, Title Work, Flood Certifications, Credit Supplements, Payoffs, Tax Transcripts, Verification of Employment, CAIVRS, Case Numbers, Certificate of Eligibility, Homeowners Insurance, SSA Validation and additional items as necessary

Compliance:
Monitor initial RESPA disclosure to the member within TRID compliance. Complete HMDA screens, disposition loans tasked for withdraw or expired notice of incomplete

Communication and Coordination:
Work with MLO’s, Loan Officer Assistants and Loan Coordinators on disclosure-related concerns and third-party service order requests.

- Three years’ experience with Encompass, VA loans, VA LGY Hub, FHA loans, and FHA Connection
- Understanding of RESPA and TRID regulations
- Experience with loan dispositioning, ordering third party services within Encompass preferredEducation
- High School diploma or equivalent.
