Scope of Work:

Under the guidance of the Commercial Lending Director, Area Leader or 1871 Group Concierge Administrator and, in accordance with established policies and procedures, the incumbent is responsible for servicing an assigned commercial loan portfolio, including interviewing clients and requesting necessary financial information to support new loan requests, loan renewals or periodic loan file reviews. If assigned to the 1871 Group, the incumbent will also assist branch staff in meeting the consumer banking and lending needs of the 1871 relationship clients as necessary. Essential Functions (3): Assists with the preparation of Commercial Loan Applications including: Meeting with the customer Determining the appropriate loan structure Collecting necessary financial information Submitting loan applications to Commercial Underwriting Services assigned Commercial Relationships Daily customer service needs of the commercial borrowing portfolio Coordinates commercial borrower service needs with other areas of the bank Responsible for the periodic review and maintenance of assigned Commercial Relationships Requesting from the borrower financial statements per the requirements of the initial loan approval Submitting current status updates Ensuring all loan packages are complete and contain the necessary level of information needed for underwriting and approval of proposed loans Coordinate with other departments within the bank to ensure timely delivery of information needed to underwrite, document and close proposed loans Tracking loan maturities and working with the customer and other departments within the bank to ensure renewals are granted in a timely manner

Understanding of Commercial Underwriting criteria CRM and CLOS proficiency Displays high level of regard for trust and confidentiality Proficient in Microsoft Office Products Displays strong written and verbal communication skills Displays strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlines Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Effectively uses analytical skills to solve technical, as well as, non-technical problems Prior knowledge of regulations within the financial services industry is preferred Ability to adapt to change

Desired Job Experience:

2-3 years of related Commercial lending experience is preferred Experience in a professional, service focused and fast-paced environment

Desired Education:

High school or General Education Diploma required Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
