In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Conduct thorough credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility and risk. Prepare and review loan applications and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with TILA regulations. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance throughout the loan process. Utilize Quicken and other software tools for effective loan processing and management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FNMA guidelines and escrow processes. Perform detailed math calculations related to loan terms, interest rates, and payment structures. Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, and underwriters to facilitate smooth transactions. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in mortgage regulations. Experience Proven experience in mortgage lending or financial services is preferred. Strong skills in credit analysis, contract review, and loan processing are essential. Familiarity with TILA regulations, FNMA guidelines, and escrow procedures is highly desirable. Proficiency in using Calyx Point or similar software for loan management. Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry. Strong mathematical abilities to perform calculations accurately.
