Hamilton Place or Northgate Financial Centers, Hamilton County, TN Position Description:

Originates new account relationships and enhances existing account relationships in accordance with the Bank’s policies, goals and objectives. Originates and services a wide variety of secured and unsecured business loans or lines of credit. Ensures that applicable bank lending policies and practices are followed. Lender will INSPIRE customers while providing “Welcome Home” experience as they develop professional relationship with customers while providing expert knowledge of the bank’s loan products and services. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance or equivalent years of experience in lending is preferred. Exceptional customer relationship skills is necessary. Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft office products including Word, Excel and Outlook are required.

Working Conditions:

Available to work Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Ability to meet deadlines is crucial. Team atmosphere. Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, authorizing, and recommending approval of commercial loans. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services and the ability to build relationships with clients while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities Assess loan applications by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documentation. Conduct thorough loan origination processes including evaluating borrower creditworthiness and risk assessment. Process loan agreements and contracts in accordance with established guidelines and regulations. Utilize financial software to manage loan portfolios and maintain accurate records of transactions. Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored lending solutions. Ensure compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and other regulatory requirements throughout the lending process. Maintain effective communication with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders during the loan processing phase. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to loans. Skills Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role within the financial services industry. Strong knowledge of loan origination processes and loan processing procedures. Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate calculations related to loans and interest rates. Familiarity with financial software tools used for managing loans and client information. Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks. Understanding of TILA regulations and compliance standards related to lending practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for assessing financial documents. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and facilitate effective communication.
