Loan Officer
A community bank is looking to add an experienced Loan Officer to its team and increase market presence. They need someone who has a strong background in developing and maintaining new business along with continuing to provide an excellent customer experience. The candidate that they are looking for must have three or more years of direct banking/lending experience along with a strong understanding of credit.
Responsibilities for the Lender/Loan Officer
Identify and cross-sell a wide range of banking services by following a proactive sales and business development plan
Develop new loans and manage the existing loan portfolio
Underwrite, Structure, and Close loans
Maintain an ongoing business development program in order to assist existing customers and solicit new customers to the bank
Monitor loan portfolio & loan repayment activities and take necessary action to collect from past-due accounts
Experienced lenders are expected to manage large and complex commercial loan customers
Qualifications for the Lender/Loan Officer
3+ years of direct commercial lending experience
Must have a proven track record in business development
Strong understanding of Credit Analysis and Underwriting
Proven record of strong customer assistance
Knowledge of Bank regulations pertaining to lending and debt collection
Preferably a 4-year degree in a related field
