Post Closing Coordinator Top Tier Title LLC Birmingham, AL 35209 A title company post-closing specialist job involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of loan files after the closing date. This includes reviewing documents, preparing them for recording, and ensuring proper disbursement of funds. They also may handle shipping files to investors and updating company systems.

Key Responsibilities Document Review:

Thoroughly reviewing loan packages, including mortgages, security agreements, and title policies, to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Compliance:

Verifying compliance with recording guidelines, bank policies, and regulatory requirements like TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures).

Recording and Tax Payments:

Preparing documents for recording, making timely payments for recording and transfer/mortgage taxes, and managing disbursement of funds.

File Management:

Tracking closed files, updating company systems, scanning and indexing documents, and managing the shipping of files to investors.

Communication:

Communicating with internal and external parties to resolve issues and gather necessary information.

Customer Service:

Maintaining excellent customer service and providing timely responses to inquiries. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2-4 year degree in business related field preferred.
