Farm Credit of Central Florida, a leading agribusiness lender seeks an organized, highly motivated individual to perform a variety of pre-close functions of loan origination. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines while working in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail, organization and strong communication skills will ensure success.
Responsibilities of the Loan Assistant will include:

• Reviews proposed collateral and collects appropriate documentation
• Requests surveys, appraisals, title insurance and hazard insurance
• Creates and maintains spreadsheets and other reports to monitor and track all aspects of collateral pledged
• Works with appraisal department to determine property improvements
• Requests flood determinations for all loans having eligible structures
• Identifies all insurance requirements for hazard, crop and/or life insurance and obtains the policies for same
• Obtains and reviews all corporate documentation on all entities to confirm authorized signors
• Obtains copies of drivers license or other identification acceptable to the Association
  Required Qualifications
• Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree and/or 1+ years as a Residential loan processor
• Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with team and management
• Ability to attain a working knowledge o f legal descriptions, appraisals, and surveys
• Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy
• Proficient working with title insurance and closing requirements
• Acts as a self-starter and completes assignments on time
• Ability to prioritize activities to meet compliance and other deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and balance workload
• Understands insurance requirements (flood, hazard, liability & crop)
• Contributes to building a positive team atmosphere
• Ability to gain an understanding and working knowledge of Association programs
• Maintains a current knowledge of Lender’s policies and procedures
• Understands applicable laws and regulations regarding lending and compliance as it relates to consumer lending
