JWBK1 We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Residential Loan Processor to join our growing banking team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing the loan file from application to closing — ensuring a smooth, timely, and compliant mortgage process for our clients. Your role Review residential loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness Ensure loans meet all regulatory guidelines and internal policies Order and review appraisals, credit reports, title commitments, and verifications (VOE, VOD, etc.) Maintain consistent communication with loan officers, underwriters, clients, and third parties to track the loan process Prepare and review files for underwriting and closing Manage multiple files efficiently, meeting deadlines and service level expectations Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations and internal protocols
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in residential mortgage loan processing (conventional, FHA, VA preferred) Strong knowledge of mortgage documents, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient in loan origination systems (LOS) and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Encompass or similar LOS High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
