Job Summary:
The Pre Approval Specialist will support loan officers in managing loan applications and processing. This role involves coordinating with clients, gathering required documentation, and ensuring that all loan files are complete and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role will also require phone calls at times to potential borrowers and real estate agent partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist loan officers in processing loan applications and ensure all necessary documentation is collected up front and in a timely manner. Review and verify application information and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. Enter and update client information in loan processing systems.
Client Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing updates on the status of their loan applications. Schedule meetings and follow-up calls between clients and loan officers.
Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure that all loan files meet regulatory requirements and company standards. Prepare and review loan documents, including disclosures, agreements, and contracts. Assist in coordinating appraisals, credit reports, and other necessary third-party services.
Administrative Support:
Maintain and organize loan files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and securely. Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documentation as needed. Assist with managing the loan pipeline and tracking deadlines to ensure timely processing.
Data Management:
Input and maintain accurate loan information in the company’s database and tracking systems. Generate reports and summaries related to loan applications and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed LO or be willing to get licensed within 90 days of employment. Previous experience in a loan processing or administrative support role is highly desirable. Strong understanding of loan processes, documentation, and compliance regulations. (willing to teach the right person) Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and loan processing software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members and realtor partners. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
