Salary – Non-exempt Position Summary Responsible for submitting and delivering mortgage loans to Investors in the Secondary Market, disclosing, processing and closing mortgage loans. Specific Job Functions & Responsibilities Submission and Delivery of Secondary Market loans to various investors by their individual delivery guidelines and requirements Review underwriting conditions received from Investor. Review conditions with MLO to ensure responsibility for clearing condition Review loans that are assigned to you for accuracy of information that was entered into the LOS Knowledge of Truth In Lending and RESPA Regulations in reference to disclosing fees to borrowers – TRID Prepare and disclose initial disclosure package and inform MLO to notify borrowers Process file to include ordering of required title documentation, credit documentation and underwriting conditions. Review receipt of documentation for accuracy. Assist MLO with clearing conditions and preparing to schedule closing date Strong communication skills required to interact with appraisers, surveyors and title agent to obtain quote for fees Ability to scan documents to the image system and bundle these documents for delivery to the Investor Prepare Pre – Closing Disclosure, Final Closing Disclosure and closing package in preparation for loan closing, working closely with closing agent Responsible for preparing the pre-closing documentation to present for funding of the loan – accuracy of funds to be wired to the closing agent Review of funding documents on day of closing to ensure all documentation is signed and notarized property and authorize release of funds Ability to cross train with other job duties/responsibilities within the mortgage department Other duties as required by Department Manager Must complete all required annual training Follow required federal and state regulations and related internal policies and procedures Required Skills/Abilities Knowledge of Investor loan programs and guidelines for both Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and Jumbo. Knowledge of both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac automated underwriting systems, Desktop Underwriting (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP). Education/Experience Required Must have a high school education, experience in loan origination including processing and closing mortgage loans. Compliance All associates have a responsibility to understand the Bank’s BSA/AM Program, the procedures outlined in it, and to follow the Program and procedures in carrying out their duties. When an associate has supervisory responsibilities, he or she will make certain that his/her staff understand the responsibilities to comply with applicable regulatory issues and internal programs, policies and procedures. Any associate that fails to adhere to the BSA/AML Program or commits other violations of the Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
