Loan Closing Associate Georgia Capital Finance Inc Smyrna, GA 30080 Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan origination process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial sales and a deep understanding of FNMA guidelines, TILA regulations, and underwriting processes. Duties Manage the loan origination process from application to closing, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ financial situations to recommend appropriate loan products. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed guidance to clients. Collaborate with underwriters and loan processors to facilitate smooth transactions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources. Utilize basic math skills for calculating loan amounts, interest rates, and payment schedules. Ensure compliance with all federal and state lending regulations throughout the loan process. Provide training and mentorship to junior loan officers as needed.
