BASIC PURPOSE:

Assists in the management ofthe Bank’s Collateral Documentation area, including the preparationof all member borrowing agreements and other documentation and thefiling and maintaining of all Uniform Commercial Code financingstatements and lien searches for all borrowing members and relatedaffiliates. Additionally, assists in the negotiating, reviewing,and processing of intercreditor agreements and/or releases withother creditors as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists in the management of preparing, assembling, processing,and reviewing of member borrowing agreements and other relateddocumentation to ensure that the documentation is complete andaccurate. Ensures that affiliates pledging collateral are identified,appropriate agreements are properly executed, and timely updatesare received showing the specific affiliate collateral itemspledged. Assists with the filing and maintaining of Uniform CommercialCode financing statements for all borrowing members and applicableaffiliates. Reviews intercreditor agreements and/or releases asnecessary. Assists with the control, inventory, and imaging of memberborrowing agreements and related documentation. Interacts with the Legal department, member institutions,vendors, and members’ creditors, such as the Federal Reserve Banksand corporate credit unions, regarding collateral relationships,lien subordinations, security instruments, and other legaldocumentation related to credit and collateral. Assists with assessing and managing risks associated withcollateral management required by regulation and Bankpolicies. Maintains an inventory of controls related to collateral riskmanagement. Interacts with the ERM department on risks associated withcollateral management. In conjunction with management, responds to auditor andexaminer requests, as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), as it appliesto secured transactions. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, analyze, and drawlogical conclusions. Ability to assess and act on issues and situationsquickly. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to interact with all levels of management at anorganization (including shareholder organizations). Self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performingwork with minimal supervision/management oversight. Attention to detail and strong sense of ownership andaccountability. Excellent time management skills and ability to handlemultiple, competing priorities. Exceptional customer service skills. Exhibits a growth mindset.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSA

bachelor’sdegree and five years of experience in a legal, real estate, orbanking/lending environment, or the equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

Paralegal or prior documentationsupervision experience is preferred.

This individualmust reside within commuting distance from ourAtlanta,GAoffice.
