The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the loan processing workflow, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete, and facilitating communication between clients, loan officers, and underwriters. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service to our clients while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies. Duties Review and verify loan applications for completeness and accuracy. Gather necessary documentation from clients, including income statements, credit reports, and asset information. Coordinate with loan officers to ensure timely processing of loans. Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility and risk. Prepare loan files for underwriting, ensuring compliance with FNMA guidelines. Communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of their loans and any additional information required. Manage escrow accounts and ensure timely disbursement of funds as needed. Maintain organized records of all loan processing activities. Requirements Previous experience in loan processing or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with underwriting processes and guidelines. Strong basic math skills for financial calculations. Knowledge of FNMA regulations and standards is a plus. Experience in credit analysis and understanding of financial statements. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using mortgage processing software and banking systems.
