We are currently seeking a Loan Processor II to add to our amazing team! The person in this role will collaborate with and support our Consumer and Mortgage Lending Teams. They will maintain expertise in either Consumer or Real Estate lending while also learning to enhance their support in the other area. Responsibilities include processing Consumer and Real Estate loans and coordinating loan closings as needed. Job Responsibilities Uses positive communication to coordinate Consumer Loan closings and ensures documentation is received and uploaded on Real Estate loans. Completes post-setup report ordering/condition collection for Real Estate loans. Provides backup support on all Consumer Lending queues, including dealers and online loan requests. Prepares closing documents for all Consumer Loans requests including collateralized loans, personal loans, and credit cards in an accurate and timely manner for Consumer Loan Officers and directly facilitates remote closings for members using DocuSign. Updates loan applications if a change is made at closing and offers guidance on Consumer Loan closings for internal and external members. Prepares closing documents for simple Real Estate loans and serves as a second set of eyes to ensure the accuracy of closing packages created by others. Books, funds, and disburses loan proceeds quickly and accurately for all Consumer and Real Estate loans. Acts as a support for everyone involved in the loan process to help maintain a cohesive lending environment Consistently sets an example with high-quality work and meets department expectations, resulting in exceptional member experience. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to three years of similar or related experience, preferably with a background in lending or financial institutions. Experience with both Consumer and Real Estate lending a plus. They’ll have attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computers, and the ability to learn new platforms, will be necessary.
