Basic Description:
The Pre-Approval Specialist will assist & support their Senior Mortgage Banker(s) (SMB) in the origination of residential real estate loans and act as a support to the Processing Team. This support role is critical in facilitating data processing, along with analysis of documents necessary to qualify and submit client files to the Operations Department. The candidate will be working hand in hand behind the scenes with the SMB/Processor in following protocol while offering and developing a timely & efficient workflow to maximize and prioritize every aspect of the pre-approval. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines for each task is imperative. This role is a trained position designed to familiarize yourself with the industry, learning necessary knowledge required to aid a borrower though the process of pre-approval. It is the entry position to Legacy Group with potential advancement to LOA1 once experience is obtained. Typically, period prior to advancement in this role is 6 months to 1 year.
Responsibilities:
Support & collaborate with all of Flat Branch Operations Staff (i.e., Processing and Underwriting). Hybrid functions to support Processing, ordering VOE’s, Foreclosure Search, and running CAIVRS Assist sales with income analysis, self-employed/variable income Work with client with multiple forms of communication, to achieve pre-approval Manage Trello and all of its functions (i.e., data entry, document emails, phone calls, letters and anything else deemed necessary and/or appropriate). Gather, analyze, upload and label all necessary documentation into the Encompass e-folder. Timely follow-up of critical document requests from clients to facilitate a pre-approval. Weekly client follow up for status updates/ areas we can help Data entry, facilitating running of DU/LP and GUS through our LOS All other duties as assigned.

Attention to detail and organizational skills, must be able to juggle tasks and deadlines Spread company culture to each location MLO License not required, but encouraged
