The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the real estate transaction process by ensuring that titles are clear and free of any encumbrances along with conveying the title properly. This position requires a strong understanding of loan processing, underwriting, and relevant regulations, as well as excellent organizational skills to manage multiple transactions efficiently. Duties Conduct thorough title searches to verify ownership and identify any liens or claims against properties. Collaborate with loan officers, banks, realtors, buyers, sellers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions. Review and analyze documents related to property transfers, including deeds, mortgages, and closing statements. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries from clients and real estate professionals. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure timely processing of documentation. Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to loan processing and title fees. Perform typing for data entry tasks related to title searches, closing document preparation, and documentation. Experience Previous experience in closing real estate transactions is preferred. Although loan processing, title processor, or loan officer. Familiarity with underwriting processes is a plus. Understanding of CFPB guidelines and basic math principles. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in using software applications related to title processing and document management.
