Job Description

  • General Position Scope:
  • The Loan Data Integrity Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance of loan data within the loan accounting system. This role involves reviewing loan documentation, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring the terms of the promissory note and loan agreement are adequately reflected in the core system. 
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Examine loan packages for compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of loan data entered in our core system
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in borrower information, loan terms, and other data points
  • Work with lenders, documentation departments, and other teams to resolve issues and improve data quality
  • Conduct audits to identify keying errors and update error tracking spreadsheets for management
  • Prepare packages for imaging
  • Utilize data management tools to track and report on data integrity metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and streamline processes
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct
  • Participate in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections Program
  • Make referrals to Mortgage Center and Wealth Management 
  • Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Two years of experience with loan documentation or a related role
  • Proficiency in data management tools (e.g. SQL, Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Extensive reading as needed, work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary
  • Ability to make difficult decisions and handle multiple tasks with daily deadlines.
