Primary Purpose:

(Summary of major reason this job exists)Flood Specialists are members of the Central Loan Operations Servicing area and are responsible for assisting with the day-to-day servicing and monitoring of properties that are located in a special flood hazard area. The Flood Specialists will also be responsible for assisting the branch personnel and other areas of the bank with any flood related questions and issues.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and/or operational support within or more of the following loan areas: Pre Closing, Post Closing, or Servicing.

Work with Lending Staff in resolving flood discrepanciesPerform flood insurance calculationsReview loan documentation and various systems to insure compliance with the flood regulation.

Maintain knowledge of the flood and escrow requirements pursuant to loan policy and federal regulationsReview Private Flood Policies to comply with the Private Flood Insurance RuleCollaborate with management and various vendors to resolve flood discrepanciesWork with Quality Control to insure controls are in placeUnderstand and follow general loan policyWork with Management and other departments to implement procedures, processes, and controls when regulation changes.
