DescriptionWhat The Role Is:
Responsible for compiling and reviewing documentation as part of the builder review process and handling modification/conversion functions for Construction Perm and Renovation Perms loans.
How You will Make an
Impact:
Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all inclusive.
Manage a pipeline of closed construction loans to complete conversion and modification functions of Construction Perm and Renovation Perm loans.
Ensures timely conversion of closed loans from the construction phase to the permanent phase, quality of files, and compliance with established bank and investor guidelines.
Collects fees and other costs from the borrower at conversion as needed.
Prepares and submits file to underwriting for a credit decision as needed.
Manages a pipeline of Builder Registration files. Compiles documentation, completes tasks, and submits to CP management for review.
Responsible for maintaining Builder Registration.
Reviews project documentation, such as contracts, plans, and specs, to ensure requirements are met. Works with sales and operations to resolve any outstanding deficiencies.
Works with internal and external parties on a regular basis.
Who You AreHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year mortgage, construction lending operations, or similar experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to effectively analyze and process simple issues and develop appropriate solutions. Must be able to apply reasoning to variables in different situations.
Ability to prioritize work assignments and to complete multiple tasks as needed.
Must be able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, policies and procedures, preferred, but not required.
Must be able to read and interpret correspondence, documents, policy and procedures.
Basic computer skills with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Teams, and Excel) and Google suite of products (Gmail, Google Sheets, Docs, Slides). Experience with LoanServ and Encompass a plus.
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as amounts owed, discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
Ability to work well with others to deliver an exceptional loan experience for all parties involved in the transaction.
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Works cooperatively with others.
Remote within Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas.
