We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients at a Tier 1 Investment Bank. You will be working as part of a fast-paced Loan Closing team,municating with multiple teams internally and externally. We are looking for someone withmercial loans experience (bilateral and syndicated loans) and loan lifecycle knowledge.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee the loan lifecycle from an operational perspective, ensuring core closing processes arepleted in a timely manner and any discrepancies/issues are escalated and investigated. This may include navigating cancellations, rebookings, adjustments, or participations.
Review trade documentation, including confirmations, or funding memos to ensurepliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
Confirm financial calculations such as delayedpensation, cost of carry, andmitment reductions.
Review and interpret credit agreements to ensure accurate execution of operations prior to closing in accordance with terms and conditions.
Review corporate actions related to loan trades to support processing, tracking, and reporting adjustments or changes affecting loans, ensuring required updates are applied accurately.
Review and reconcile trade discrepancies, maintaining trade status updates, and escalating issues as needed.
Supportpletion of daily and escalation reports. This may include delayedpensation, unallocated trades or fee reconciliations.
Collaborate across counterparties, and internal and external teams, to ensure seamless operations andpliance.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Understanding of syndicated loans lifecycle
1-2 years relevant financial experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strongmunication skills
Advanced Excel skills
Attention to detail
Desired Experience:
May have some prior loan closing experience
Some exposure to loan documentation (LMA/ LSTA, credit agreements, funding memos etc.)
Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:
As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands.
Salary Range:
$60,000- $66,000
