Job Summary:
The Senior Associate, Document Management role oversees the reconveyance activities performed by our offshore partners (Trimont India) on recently paid off loans. As a Senior Associate, you will become part of a skilled and dynamic team, specializing in documentation and customer service. Your responsibilities will include direct communication with Trimont India, title companies, law firms and internal partners to ensure the proper release documentation is recorded in the applicable jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Trimont India reconveyance process ensuring submissions are in compliance with state jurisdictions and internal policies. Build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external clients, delivering exceptional customer service. Analyze and provide guidance to India on exceptions and rejections received from jurisdictions. Collaborate with internal and external clients by obtaining or providing documentation necessary to close time sensitive transactions in conjunction with the loan pay offs. Review recorded documentation to obtain full assignment chains to facilitate reconveyance processing. Participate in additional projects as required, contributing to the company’s and team’s overarching goals and initiatives. Assist in the updating and creation of policies and procedures as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in any field 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions and familiar with industry-specific terminology. Understanding of recorded documents and assignment chains. Exceptional customer service capabilities. Exhibits a keen interest in operational functionality and a passion for enhancing efficiencies. High level of proficiency in Excel, and competent in Word and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organizational and administrative skills. Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
