Loan Officer Assistant Norment Mortgage Team powered by New American Fundings Raleigh, NC We’re currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to support our loan officers and contribute to a smooth, efficient loan process. We’re searching for a detail-oriented mortgage loan officer assistant. This position will play a vital part in communicating with referral partners, current and past clients, real estate agents, lenders, and underwriters to nurture relationships and develop new business. You will facilitate the completion of real estate loan applications, collect, analyze, and review supporting loan documentation in accordance with loan guidelines, and provide support throughout the loan application process. Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) supports our Loan Officers by managing the administrative and operational tasks related to mortgage loan files. This includes collecting and reviewing documentation, maintaining communication with borrowers and third parties, and ensuring files are complete and compliant throughout the loan lifecycle. Support assigned Loan Officers with daily pipeline management and client communication Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation to ensure files are complete and accurate Act as a liaison between borrowers, processors, underwriters, and real estate agents Input and maintain accurate data in New American’s Loan Origination System (LOS) Monitor loan milestones and proactively follow up on outstanding items and deadlines Ensure compliance with company policies, investor guidelines, and industry regulations Prepare files for submission to processing and underwriting
Qualifications:
