The Senior Payment Processor leverages precision and attention to detail to handle a high volume of payments and account transactions with attention to mitigating risks associated with payment processing, such as fraud detection and compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities are essential to deliver exceptional and accurate experiences to internal customersAs a key contributor to the Coastal team, your responsibilities will be

• (30%) Researching and posting report exceptions for lockbox payments and bill payment solutions
• (15%) Reviewing high volume of member mobile deposits exceptions and completing reversals or accepting deposit to member accounts
• (15%) Handling incoming requests from other departments in the Credit Union for various transaction posting requests
• (15%) Processing mailed deposits and payments coming in directly to our PO Box
• (15%) Researching and processing more complex adjustments coming in from the Federal Reserve and investigating lockbox outages from Accounting
• (10%) Train incoming payment processorsInterested?

Experience

• 3 years financial institution experience in transaction processing
• Data entry experience requiredEducation
• High school diploma or equivalent.
