Position Summary:
The primary responsibility for a Post-Closing Review Analyst is ensuring loans are documented and booked on the bank’s core system in accordance with the loan approval, bank policies and regulatory requirements. The review includes verification and accuracy of the customer electronic loan files – ensuring documents are imaged and indexed properly. This person performs loan collateral verification and is responsible for tracking loan exceptions for the lending department. The person in this role must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Review new, renewed, and modified commercial loan files ensuring they close in accordance with the loan approval, adhere to bank policies, and regulatory requirements. Ensure loan collateral is submitted for recording and verifying ticklers for tracking are set-up in the bank’s systems (i.e. collateral, insurance etc.). Perform mortgage and UCC collateral lien position verification. Responsible for generating and maintaining the post-closing exception report. Ensure exceptions are identified and tracked on internal Bank reports and verify they are properly maintained. Review and approve documentation submitted to clear exceptions, update bank systems and image documentation to loan file. Document and communicate procedural changes to ensure consistency (i.e. post-closing review checklists etc.). Assist with imaging submission requests when needed. Any other support functions or additional duties as required.

Decision-making skills and ability to solve work-related problems quickly. A willingness to contribute to projects and take immediate action when an all-hands-on-deck situation arises. Carry out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with the Bank’s policies. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to navigate the Bank’s computer- based systems. Education and/or
Experience:
This individual must be able to perform essential loan servicing and imaging activities satisfactorily. These activities include but are not limited to creating customer electronic loan files, properly uploading and indexing documents, and experience with reviewing loan packages for completeness. The requirements listed below are representative of the level of knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Minimum high school diploma required. Experience in commercial bank lending with loan operations environment and able to perform essential loan servicing and imaging activities satisfactorily.
