Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team! A Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for managing and processing mortgage loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete, and facilitating communication between borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other parties involved. The goal is to ensure loans are processed efficiently while complying with industry regulations and company policies.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Review mortgage loan applications for accuracy and completeness. Verify applicants personal, employment, and financial information. Collect and review necessary documents, such as income verification, tax returns, credit reports, appraisals, and bank statements. Ensure documents comply with federal, state, and company regulations. Address missing or incomplete documentation promptly. Act as a liaison between borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors (e.g., appraisers, title companies). Communicate effectively to resolve any issues or discrepancies Ensure all loan files meet regulatory requirements, including RESPA, TILA, and TRID guidelines. Identify and address potential red flags or risks in the loan file. Accurately input loan information into Encompass. Maintain detailed records of loan progress for audit and review purposes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
2+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing or a related field.
Knowledge:
Understanding of mortgage loan types, underwriting guidelines, and compliance regulations.
Software Proficiency:
Experience with Encompass and Microsoft Office.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to

Ability to handle multiple loan files simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
